A dark Oolong from Anxi, in the Funjian Province of Southern China. This tea has peachy and floral notes with a full body of flavor. This style of Oolong used to be picked by Monkeys because of how dangerous it was to pick the best leaves from wild tea trees that grew off cliffs. Now it is a custom for Southern tea merchants to call their signature tea their Monkey Picked oolong to represent their best tea.
